Power-to-X is a technology that converts renewable energy into clean molecules, such as green hydrogen and ammonia. These solutions replace fossil fuels, reduce emissions, and open up new opportunities for agriculture, industry, and the global economy.

Renewable energy can go beyond electricity generation. By combining a solar power source with water electrolysis, we produce green hydrogen and ammonia. From these, we create different applications—the "X" in Power-to-X—ranging from synthetic fuels to liquid fertilizers.
What we produce today
At Fontes Verdes, we apply Power-to-X to concrete solutions for strategic sectors:
Agro: fertilizantes líquidos (UAN)à base de hidrogênio e amônia verdes, mais eficientes e sustentáveis.
INDUSTRY: green ammonia and hydrogen as inputs for decarbonization processes, including the production of low-carbon steel.
OTHER APPLICATIONS:
synthetic fuels (e-methanol), renewable chemicals and energy storage.
